At Artfest | All ages | 2‑hour session | $15 per person | Up to 20 participants

Bring along an object that sparks joy and join artist Helen Morgan in creating a collaborative still life filled with meaning, memory and imagination. Participants will place their chosen object into a shared arrangement — either quietly or through storytelling — forming a unique group still life that celebrates gratitude and connection.

🎨 What’s Included:

• An “art buffet” of materials: paper, pencils, markers, watercolour, paint and collage supplies

• Technical guidance and creative support from Helen

• Space to explore realistic or abstract interpretations of the still life

• Optional access to Helen’s zine Stories from an Electric Typewriter for added inspiration

🎨 What to Bring:

• One small object that sparks joy for you (This could be sentimental, quirky, meaningful, or simply something you love.)

• Objects should be small enough to sit safely on a table as part of the group still life.

Each participant will create their own artwork inspired by the collective still life, choosing any style or medium that feels right. A joyful, reflective workshop for anyone who loves creativity, storytelling and meaningful objects.
