Join us at Tweed Regional Museum for the exhibition opening of Speak Easy, as we open our latest exhibition experience, Speak Easy.

Your ticket includes a special cocktail from our friends at Ink Gin, and raclette by the exceptional Kat Harvey Cheese.

Explore the fascinating history of communication and the incredible breakthroughs that have shaped how we connect today.

Every text, call, and video stream we use is built on a history of bold ideas and groundbreaking discoveries, many of which seemed impossible at the time. Imagine signals sent through the air, voices carried across oceans, and cables hidden beneath the sea. Each step has brought us closer to the powerful technology we now take for granted.

With interactive displays, hands-on code breaking experiences and exciting stories of innovation, you'll uncovering the secrets of the past and see your devices in a whole new light.

You can also find us on the road with our Museum on Wheels, aka the MoW, a first of it's kind mobile Museum. The MoW brings exhibitions, objects, workshop and unique experiences to festivals, markets, events and special locations throughout the Tweed and beyond.

The Tweed Regional Museum Collection includes over 50,000 images and 15,000 objects that tell stories of the history and culture of the Tweed, from 20 million years ago to the present day. You can search the collection online, or contact us for specific research enquiries.
