This February, join Perth-based writer Karleah Olson for an engaging author talk about her debut novel A Wreck of Seabirds, a powerful exploration of loss, isolation, and entrapment. Shortlisted for the 2023 Fogarty Literary Award, this evocative novel shifts between timelines, weaving together the lives of Briony, Ren, and Sarah against the haunting beauty of the Western Australian coastline. 

In this session, Karleah will delve into the creative process behind her writing, the inspiration for her richly layered characters, and the thematic depth of her storytelling. Don't miss the chance to hear from the author of this captivating debut!
