Event description

For adults and families with children 9+ years

The Aussie Bird Count will be held from Monday 20 October to Sunday 26 October and everyone can get involved.

Learn about the different bird species that call Tomato Lake home by a representative from Birdlife Australia (WA).

There will be a visual presentation of the different types of birdlife including bird calls and song. You will also learn how to navigate the Aussie Bird Count App in preparation for participating in Australia's largest annual citizen science event!

Please note:

  • Do not attend if unwell

  • If you cannot make it to the event, we strongly encourage you to cancel your ticket to ensure your spot is allocated to someone on the waitlist

Update: Bird Walk at Tomato Lake

Following this event there will be a guided walk at Tomato Lake to learn and observe the birdlife. Seperate tickets are required. 

Please note this event has been rescheduled to Sunday 21 September from 9am to 11am due to wet and windy weather conditions.
