Event description

For adults and families with children 9 years +

The Aussie Bird Count will be held from October 20 to 26 and everyone can get involved. Learn about the different bird species that call Tomato Lake home by a representative from Birdlife Australia (WA). There will be a visual presentation of the different types of birdlife including bird calls and song. You will also learn how to navigate the Aussie Bird Count App in preparation for participating in Australia's largest annual citizen science event!
Following this event there will be a guided walk at Tomato Lake to learn and observe the birdlife.
Separate tickets will be required for this event.

Please note:

  • Do not attend if unwell

  • If you cannot make it to the event, we strongly encourage you to cancel your ticket to ensure your spot is allocated to someone on the waitlist
