Everyday Confidence: Speaking with Ease
Event description
We did a poll in our GIN Group on LinkedIn and 63% of you voted for Public Speaking so we have our very own Carmen Braidwood joining us to takle that very topic!
Public speaking doesn’t just mean standing on a stage, it’s walking into a room and confidently introducing yourself, sharing an idea in a meeting, or even having a meaningful one-on-one conversation.
On Friday 24th October, join us for a small group GIN workshop led by Carmen, designed to help you explore, practise and grow your voice in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Here’s what you can expect:
🌿 A simple warm-up to help you feel at ease.
💬 Learn to give and receive feedback that’s constructive, kind, and confidence-boosting.
📝 Share a story using a simple storytelling structure (recording optional, no pressure!).
📄 Walk away with written, actionable feedback from the group.
🌟 Reflect together on how to keep building your confidence and developing your “signature stories.”
🥂 Stay afterwards for relaxed conversation and connection.
This isn’t a class and it’s not a performance. It’s a chance to practise, learn, and grow in community because your voice matters and the world needs to hear it.
Thank you to Heather Wallace from Nomad on Brand for providing the venue.
Please note the venue is Vitality House Works (not Vitality House - both are in Leederville).
