Special Edition Founder Stories - Kid-Entrepreneur: Veer Sareen, Founder, RIF
Event description
WELCOME TO FOUNDER STORIES 2021
Same concept, different year, ongoing lessons.
What is Founder Stories?
The Tank Stream Labs community is home to an incredible knowledge fountain - everyone with their own unique story to tell. Join us every month for a fireside chat with our talented founders and listen in on their startup journey, their story, and the sharing of lessons learned.
In this special edition of Founder Stories, we speak with kid-entrepreneur, Veer Sareen, Founder of RIF (Reading is Fundamental).
Veer is the son of our Perth member, Vikram Sareen, Founder, Blue Bricks. He is the founder of RIF (Reading is Fundamental) and a Year 4 student.
He just turned 9 years old and lives with his parents, younger sister & 4 chooks. He is passionate about chess, wrestling, scouts, maths, drums, tennis, turtles, and RIF.
He is excited to learn every day. He hopes RIF will help his friends, his school, his city, and his nation to improve their reading to absorb more knowledge and solve bigger problems than his father's generation.
TSL's Kid-Entrepreneur Program (Perth)
Veer is taking part in Tank Stream Lab's first ever Kid-Entrepreneur program in April 20201. The Kid-Entrepreneur program aims to encourage and support children who have entrepreneurial mindsets and/or those who are interested in entrepreneurship. Through hands-on experience working with and alongside established entrepreneurs, it aims to teach skills and lessons that are not taught in schools and are learned through real-life work scenarios - helping to create a new generation of entrepreneurs.
