Event description

In celebration of National Science Week, we are joined by representatives of the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre, a not-for-profit organisation specialising in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of the three threatened species of black cockatoos that inhabit south west WA.

Come and hear about the work Kaarakin does, meet a live education black cockatoo and learn about how you can help conserve these magnificent birds.

National Science week is 10 to 18 August 2024.

People of all ages are welcome at this session.

Places are limited and bookings are essential.
