A powerhouse of raw energy, skill and artistry, Matthew Pope is a multidisciplinary circus performer, whose otherworldly acts push the boundaries of physical performance and captivate audiences. With over 16 years experience, Matthew has proved to be a powerhouse in the performing world, both in circus arts and burlesque. A regular face at Fringe World Festivals each year, touring nationally and performing alongside Bernie Dieter and Reuben Kaye, Matthew went on to win the title of MX Burlesque Western Australia in 2022 and Proud Awards Entertainer of the Year 2023. A blended mix of performance art, circus and burlesque, Matthew is evocative, sensual and similarly, jarring.
