Speechie Talks at the Library
Event description
In November the library will be hosting free presentations by local speech pathologists in partnership with Speech Pathology Australia and the Australian Library and Information Association.
The presentations are focused on helping parents and carers to develop language and literacy for children aged 0 – 5 years at home.
The speech pathologists will be sharing tips, library resources and a demonstrated book reading of the 2024 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year.
3 presentations available:
- Friday 15 November, 3.30 – 4.30pm at Glen Street Library
- Monday 18 November, 10 - 11am at Mona Vale Library
- Thursday 21 November, 6 – 7pm at Warringah Mall Library
The content of these information sessions are aimed at parents and carers (young children who require minding are welcome).
