Speed Dating for Professionals | Ages 30-45 | Encounter Dating

Encounter Dating are hosting a Speed Dating event for Single Professionals aged between 30-45 at the Crows Nest Hotel.

If you're one of the many single professionals in Sydney aged between 30-45 and you'd really rather not date anyone in the office, you'll want to come to our "Single Professionals Speed Dating".

Connect with stylish single professionals like yourself in a trendy wine bar in the heart of Crows Nest.

You'll go on a series of mini-dates with around 14 singles of the opposite sex, with the ladies remaining seated and the guys moving tables every six minutes. You get to decide who you would like to contact further after the event through our matching platform.

This event is exclusively for Uni graduates, corporate professionals and entrepreneurs.

We allow guests to be outside of this age group by a maximum of 12 months.

What Ages Can I Expect To Meet

We usually find that the ladies tend to be in the younger age range e.g. 30-42 while the men are a few years older e.g. 33-45

Before the event

On the events page, request access to the event you have purchased a ticket for.

After the event

Log back in to Encounter Match and select who you would like to match with. If they have also selected you, your preferred contact details will be shared with each other instantly on the My Matches page. You will have 24hrs to select your matches after the event.

Event Itinerary

7:30pm - Guest arrivals, welcome drink and pizza served

8:00pm (approx) - Speed dating begins

10:0pm (approx) - Speed dating ends and post event socialising begins

Once you arrive our friendly hosts will greet you and sign you in. Collect your welcome drink from the bar while we wait for all guests to arrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your cancellation policy?

Please email us at bookings@encounterdating.com.au at least 48 hours before the event to receive a 12 month credit that can be used towards a future event. If you cancel within 48 hours of the event, you will only receive a credit if we are able to fill your place with someone on the waitlist.

I am older or younger than the specified age group – can I still attend?

This event is for singles aged 30-45, however we do allow guests to be outside of this age group by a maximum of 12 months. Please ensure you have photo ID with you to show on request.

Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?

Yes, we offer free name transfers as long as your friend is of the same sex and within the specified age requirement for the event. Simply email us at bookings@encounterdating.com.au with your booking details and your friend’s full name, age and email address.

Do many people attend by themselves?

Many of the guests at our events come by themselves as they don't always have a single friend available to bring along with them. You are actually more approachable when you are by yourself compared to being with a friend at a singles event.
