SPFX Workshop - The Arts Centre

Join us for a fun and creative workshop this school holidays, learning all things SPFX. These workshops are developed for ages between 10-15yr olds, with 2hrs hands on experience, participants will learn how to create their very own wounds, scabs, burns and more using just household ingredients. Learn these SPFX tricks used on your favourite films and TV shows plus take home your very own kit of goodies you made to practice your new skills on friends and family. 

These workshops are for boys and girls and we encourage anyone who doesn’t mind getting a little messy with fake blood to give it a go. These workshops are beginner level and require no previous experience. With Aotearoa having a thriving and well recognised Film Industry worldwide perhaps these workshops will inspire some future film creatives.
