An afternoon of learning, tasting and talking about the key principles of food and wine pairing. In this workshop, owner and sommelier Jamie Fleming will guide guests through hacks that sommeliers use when pairing food and wine. The afternoon will be based around three small dishes that the Spill Wine team have created using local produce from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Each dish will be paired with two 50ml pours, which will give guests the opportunity to see how wine truly affects flavour.

Jamie comes with 20+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, in both front and back of house. From award-winning cocktail bars and hatted restaurants in Sydney, to a cheeky stint on MasterChef in 2014, he utilised that knowledge to open award-winning and internationally acclaimed bar and restaurant Alba Bar and Deli in Brisbane CBD.

The correct wine choice can elevate a meal from good to great, and this workshop is designed to give you all the tools you need to be the hero at your next dinner party.
