Description

Join us for our monthly book club meetings to chat with some likeminded, local friends in a relaxed setting, sip a glass of wine and discuss each month's book.

Each session is capped to a small group so everyone has space to share. Your ticket secures your spot. You can grab a glass of wine from the bar, sit back and enjoy the vibes and the chat!

We tend to choose modern reads under 400 pages, with a mix of genres. Think literary and contemporary fiction, memoir, historical fiction and the occasional romance or non-fiction. We welcome all genders, ages and reading abilities (we love audiobooks!).

Book club meetings run on the first Sunday of each month at 3pm, and the following Monday at 6:30pm. You can keep up to date via Instagram - @spiltwinebookclub 🫧

Please only book in if you're sure you'll be able to read the book and attend! We hate seeing empty seats at the table.

If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Even if you're outside the refund window, it helps us plan for the event and means we know not to set a place for you at the table.

Refunds are available up to 14 days before the event. After this time, tickets are non-refundable, as attendees need time to read the book.

If you missed out on tickets to your preferred date, you can join our waitlist or subscribe receive early access to future events.

FAQs

  • What's the age range and demographic?

Book club is suited to adults in their 20s - 40s and we tend to fall into the middle age range. We are majority femme but men are also welcome!

  • Is it okay to come alone?

Absolutely! Most people attend solo. It's a friendly, welcoming space and you'll have plenty to chat about.

  • Do I need to finish the book to attend?

We definitely prefer if you've finished the book - or most of it at least! We'll be discussing the plot, characters and resolution in depth, so it's best if you can contribute too. We encourage consuming the book whoever you can - audiobooks are a great way if you're running out of time!

  • What if I booked a ticket but can no longer attend?

We tend to have a waitlist, so the earlier you let us know, the better.

Even if you're outside the refund window, it helps us plan for the event and means we know not to set a place for you at the table.

Refunds are available up to 14 days before the event. After this time, tickets are non-refundable, as attendees need time to read the book.
