Event description

While the practical skills of farming and growing healthy food are an absolute necessity, the same cannot be said about developing a spiritual understanding of the forces behind living nature. After all, we don’t really need to understand why biodynamic food is healthier and tastes better in order to be able to appreciate it.

On the other hand, it is exactly this larger, spiritual context that makes the world and our lives more meaningful. How so?

When taking a deeper look at what Rudolf Steiner, the founder of the Biodynamic method had to say about it, we soon realise that his spiritual research about humanity, the world and the spiritual universe is just as relevant today as it was 100 years ago. Once we begin to understand how we all, humans, animals, plants and minerals alike are evolving together within a meaningful and inter-connected physical and spiritual reality, our lives and attitude towards the world and nature are changed forever.

In this online series of 4 talks and one Q&A evening, Johannes will look at the spiritual and etheric manifestation processes of nature. We look at how the four Ethers create nature’s forms and how they interact with the spiritual blueprints and spiritual archetypes of the spiritual universe.

Meet your lecturer:

Johannes Schuster was the founding class teacher and subsequent  administrator of the Little Yarra Steiner School in Melbourne, whose organisational growth and architectural designs he oversaw for over 20 years. With a 45+ year background in Anthroposophy, his particular interest are the four Ethers and their different functions in the creation of nature’s forms. It is this interest which led to Johannes’ involvement with architecture and the creation of a theory and practical methodology of  Transformative Art & Architecture (TAA), which he and his wife Sue have been teaching for the last 15 years in numerous courses and workshops in Europe, (at the Goetheanum 2015 and 2016), Argentina, China, Malaysia and Australia, going online since 2020.

In more recent years, Johannes also began offering general Anthroposophical lecture cycle on the spiritual history of Humanity and Earth and the Structure of the Spiritual Universe.
