Event description

Join Friends of Nail Can Hill and Bungowannah/Splitters Creek Landcare on this unique opportunity to visit a 360ha private woodland on the Splitters Creek side of Nail Can Hill. We will walk up steep rocky trails with the landowners, explore hidden Stony Gully and remnants of the mining history, keep a look out for wildflowers, birds and reptiles and admire the amazing views of Nail Can Hill, Hamilton Valley and Splitters Creek.

We will meet at the front gate at 10am (address supplied after registration) and walk up the fire trail onto the plateau and explore this Box gum grassy woodland.

Bring your camera, binoculars, walking boots, long pants, hat, sun screen, & lunch.

Expect - Steep rocky tracks, uneven ground, long grass, wind and sun. Limited vehicle access.
