Event description

One year on from the ACT election, the final event for the year is Spotlight on the Assembly – insights and learnings from the new MLAs, and opportunities for improvement.

Moderator Mark Spain will engage the new Brindabella and Murrumbidgee MLAs - Taimus Werner-Gibbings, Fiona Carrick and Deborah Morris (tbc) - in a conversation about their experience as new MLAs, followed by a Q&A session. We will explore:

  • What did you think it would be like?

  • How are you finding it?

  • What surprised you?

  • What changes would you like to see?

Caitlin Tough would like to have participated, but has a prior engagement.

If possible, a small donation would be appreciated to cover printing, stationery and the occasional room hire as we are a small unfunded community group.
