Spring 2026 Wyndham Active Kinders Day - 3 to 5 years

Active Kinders Day is back for a fun morning of sport and physical activity at Polly Parade Reserve, Tarneit.

All sessions are tailored for Kinder-aged kids 3 to 5 years and delivered by local Wyndham providers. No experience is required and suitable for all abilities. All sessions are FREE!

If your child is attending school please choose one of the many activities available across the Active Holidays program instead - these will be more suitable for them and will give the younger kids a go.

Choose from five 30-minute activities running at 10am, 10.45am and 11.30am - this is a great opportunity for kinder kids to try activities and find out how they can continue.

• Athletics- Learn the basics of Run, Jump and Throw with Ready Steady Go Kids.

• Cricket - Join in a fun Mini Movers session, helping kids develop their core motor skills.

• Tennis - Try Meehan Tennis Academy Hotshots program.

• Gymnastics - Join Werribee Gymnastics Club for a Kindergym session designed for kids up to 5 years

• Soccer - Learn some fun basic skills with Tarneit North Football Club

Wyndham's Pop Up Library Van - Borrow a book, speak with the friendly Library staff and find out about the fun activities and services Wyndham Libraries offers - available throughout the morning.

NEW Booking process - How to Book:

1. Click on Register

2. Active Kinders Day entry - choose the number of children attending the event, maximum of 2 children per registration

3. Choose the activities they would like to attend - one from each time slot per child - 10am, 10.45am and 11.30am session (Each child can join one activity per timeslot.)

4. Complete the full registration for each child you are registering

5. For each activity ticket that you selected at (3), complete the first and last name and age of the child

All sessions are delivered by a range of local Wyndham providers in partnership with Wyndham City as part of the Active Wyndham Calendar which aims to help more Wyndham residents to find physical activities that they enjoy.

Please bring:

• a drink bottle with water

• wear comfortable clothing and trainers they can be active in

Sign up today, and tell your friends. Places are limited, if you change your mind about attending please cancel your ticket through Humanitix so that others can have the chance to join in.

Safety Information:

• Please arrive at 9.45am to get your name ticked off on the register

• If you feel unwell please consider whether you should attend the session.

• Please follow any processes in place as directed by the coaches.

Registration information will be kept on a secure database and will be used in a statistical format for monitoring and evaluation purposes only. You may be contacted for feedback to help with course improvement/project evaluation. Medical information, name, age, gender and emergency contact details will be passed onto the coaches where required.
