Spring equinox circle

‘Light and dark are in balance, but the light is mastering the dark.’ - The Witches Bible. 

I invite you to join me in ritual to honour the sabbat of Ostara - spring equinox, a time when the planet is in complete balance. Marking day and night in equal length, and the sun moving into the zodiac sign of Libra, reinforcing themes of harmony, balance and new beginnings. 

Over shared tea and cake, we will explore the mythology and traditions of the spring equinox, unpack current astrological transits, embody transitional and rebalancing techniques, discuss seasonal plant allies, play with creativity and intuition to cultivate what we want to call in over the remainder of the waxing year (until summer solstice). 

RSVP is essential for catering and ensure an intimate setting. $10 optional donation. 

Please note: ritual is an act of sacred work that is personal and authentic, held in an open, compassionate and safe space. This ritual is informed by folk traditions, witchcraft and ceremonial magick, and as such this may involve invoking the elements, their elementals, planetary spirits and other deities. 

What to bring (optional):

• Comfortable clothes - we will be seated for long periods

• A cushion to sit on

• objects for the altar- crystals, flowers, herbs, objects to consecrate, seasonal items, oracle: tarot, runes etc..

• pencil and paper

• food and drink to share 

• golden or copper coins 

• seeds from your garden to share
