Join us for a beautiful evening of KIRTAN call-and-response chanting to celebrate the Spring Equinox.
Sun Hyland will guide you on this wonderful journey of voice, mantra, and breath, calming the mind and lifting the spirits. Live guitar, harmonium and percussion to a company choir of angelic voices.
All are welcome and no experience is required - Kirtan is a simple enjoyable practice that is accessible to anyone who has a voice.

Spring Equinox is a time to celebrate rebirth, renewal, and the emergence of new life after the dormant winter months. A time to leave behind what no longer serves and to focus our energy to create and manifest as we move into the warmth of spring & summer.

Sun Hyland
Kirtanist, songwriter & guitarist Sun Hyland combines a heartfelt devotion to yogic practice and powerful, sweet voice to create a wonderful healing sound experience. For the last 15 years Sun has been leading soulful and uplifting musical mantra & meditation sessions at festivals and yoga centres around Aus & beyond. Sun also teaches harmonium, voice and guitar from his studio in Castlemaine.
Our Venue
The Sacred Studio is a new studio space created by Lee Tiepermann from A Journey to Sacred. He created this space specifically to host sound healing, breathwork and kirtan. It's thougtfully set up with bolsters, heating and a great sound system, and a lot of thought has been put in to making it comfortable and beautiful. It's in Chadstone just off the freeway.
Arrival & Timing
Please aim to arrive between 6:30–6:45pm to give yourself time to settle in and have a chai. Kirtan will begin at 7pm
Ticketing & Refund Policy
We understand that life happens. Refunds are available up until 24 hours before the event start time. After this point, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to future events. If you cannot attend and would like to gift your ticket to someone in the community, please contact us at sunhylandmusic@gmail.com

- How do I get to Sacred Studio?
By Car: Street parking is available.
By Public Transport: Getting to 37 Aikman Crescent in Chadstone by public transport is simple with a couple of good options. You can take a train on the Glen Waverley line and get off at Jordanville Station, which is about a 10–12 minute walk to Aikman Crescent. Alternatively, you can travel to Oakleigh Station, then either catch a short bus ride (routes like 800, 802, 804, or 862 toward Chadstone) or walk. There are also multiple bus routes running close to the address, stopping within a few minutes’ walk, making it easy to connect from nearby stations or major hubs like Chadstone Shopping Centre.
