Spring Floristry Workshops

Learn the following:

• Understanding of seasonal availability
• Working to seasonal theme with appropriate colours, styles and flowers
• How to prepare and care for flowers
• Practical knowledge of how to arrange flowers, using professional floristry techniques
• Developing an understanding of floral design
• Energetic and healing properties of nature, practices you can do at home
• Sustainability in nature and minimising waste
• Experimenting with the natural resources around you

Course Outline – Spring

Each class will run for 2hrs. You will learn the following 6 designs over 6 fortnights 

Floral Teacup – Friday 20th Sept

In honour of the Spring Equinox and our first class, we will start with a warm cup of tea and finish with a unique floral design.

Basket of Blooms – Friday 4th Oct *(All ages)

School holiday special! A sweet collection of florals and natural materials featured in this sustainable and re-useable design. Bring your child for free to this one!

Pretty Posy – Friday 18th Oct

Our first attempt at creating a hand-tied design. Small in size, but big in heart. Featuring fresh fragrant flowers for Spring.

Floral Headpiece – Friday 1st Nov

In light of Melbourne Cup Day, we will have a celebration and create a floral headpiece from fresh and dried blooms.

Eco Design – 15th Nov

Explore a colourful, natural and eco-friendly design in a sustainable pot.

Christmas Wreath – 29th Nov

To celebrate our last design and with Christmas just around the corner, its time to get creative with a Christmas inspired wreath! Made from sustainable and dried materials, ready to hang on your door to welcome joy into your home.

Full course - 6 designs - All flowers, tools and materials included
$330 per person

Full course - 6 designs - BYO flowers. Tools and materials included only.
$180 per person after

Suitable for 16+ (Design 2. October 4th, open to all ages with 16+ Guardian)

Spring Floristry Workshops are suitable for all experience levels, from the complete beginner wanting to learn about floral design, to those looking to enhance their skills.
