About Solaris Cancer Care

Solaris Cancer Care has helped 23,000 Western Australians through their cancer journey.

Solaris Cancer Care was founded in September 2001, to provide cancer patient and carer access to safe, free, supervised and credentialed complementary therapies. Patients receiving mainstream cancer treatment, particularly chemotherapy and radiotherapy, can opt to receive a variety of treatments such as yoga, massage, meditation, acupuncture, reiki, and counselling.

Solaris helps people through their cancer journey by providing therapies to address cancer symptoms and treat side effects.

In-house and published research shows improved quality of life and reduced symptom distress from pain, nausea and fatigue, the most troubling symptoms for cancer patients.
