Event description

Celebrate Spring and our amazing parks with a fun-filled visit to Yanchep National Park! 🌳

Enjoy the free hut-building and flag-making activities on offer from 11:00am – 2:00pm provided by Educated by Nature. Flag making is a tactile play opportunity where children experiment with the manipulation of natural materials to make a unique flag. Reveal the inner beauty of natural materials through stick whittling and the traditional art of Hapa Zome. Cubby building connects people with a sense of identity and place – come and construct, decorate and enjoy playing in cubbies.

Why not spend the day and experience some of the many activities on offer for everyone to enjoy at Yanchep, including nine walk trails.

Navigate your way through the tuart trees at Tree Tops Adventure, visit the Koalas, or book a round of golf in a tranquil bushland setting.

Meals and drinks available all day at the historic Yanchep Inn and Chocolate Drops Tearooms or bring your own picnic. Extend your adventure by staying overnight at the Yanchep Inn or book a campsite on the Henry White Oval.

Spring into Parks is a WA Parks Foundation initiative, supported by Lotterywest.
