Event description

The Open Gardens WA Annual Spring Launch is always a popular event. With a welcoming and interesting venue, an entertaining guest speaker and a delicious morning tea, it is an event not to be missed.

The speaker this year is Andrea Whitely, a passionate plant professional with many years experience in planting, designing and transforming WA gardens. Andrea has very recently been appointed the writer for the Garden Section in The Sunday Times, a new platform for us to enjoy her unique insight into gardens she visits.

This year's venue is the impressive Grand Dining Hall of Guildford Grammar School situated on Terrace Road Guildford, with plenty of accessible parking and situated alongside the magnificent chapel of St Mary and St George.

The refreshments will be a delicious gourmet spread, self-serve buffet style, with a welcoming hot drink on arrival all included in your ticket price of $30 for members, and $35 for non-members. The menu includes:

·       Scones, with jam & cream
·       Apple Charlotte
·       Mini Sausage Rolls
·       Small Vegetarian Quiche
·       A variety of Sandwiches
·       Smoked Chicken Mini Bagels

You will receive a copy of the Art in the Hills full colour glossy magazine, which includes our Spring 2025 open gardens calendar within its pages.

For your convenience, you can renew or join as members at the same time as booking a ticket.
