Spring Luncheon & Fashion Parade

iDareDream formed to fill a desperate need – to provide the trauma-affected children being raised by grandparents, opportunities to rebuild lost self-worth, discover innate abilities and talents, and have the confidence to dream dreams of bright and fulfilling futures.

Our story began in early 2013 with a radio interview. A grandmother described the plight of fellow grandparents who suddenly become responsible for the full-time care of their grandchildren. This occurs when one or both of a child’s parents are unable to fulfill their parental role due to their own mental ill-health, violent relationships, substance abuse or occasionally, accidental death.  

In mid-2018 iDareDream was formed by 6 committed friends who set about raising funds to sponsor these children to extra-curricular activities, something their mostly pensioner grandcarers could rarely afford.

100% of public donations go directly to this sponsorship program and participation in their chosen activity has inspired many children to reach goals they never dared dream possible.

After 5:00 pm, Sunday 27 September 2026: No refund

All refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of your cancellation being confirmed.

No. However, any donations made during the event are tax-deductible, and receipts will be issued after the event.

Through potentially life-changing opportunities, we help these children rebuild lost self-worth, discover and hone innate talents and abilities, and gain a sense of belonging within the wider community.

For catering purposes tickets sales will end 5pm Sunday 27 September unless sold out earlier.
