Welcome to our Interactive Kids Concert, where children are invited to participate using percussion, their voices, their dancing feet and to enjoy a story. As this is a kids concert there is no need for them to sit still or be quiet, we would love to hear their voices join in. There is space to run around outside if they need a little more room to move or become restless. If they have any of their own musical instruments and would like to bring them along that is welcomed.

We are going to discuss Art as a form of healing, and not a form of productivity. No matter who you are you can experience or create art as a form of healing and deep connection. Art is transformative. So join us in the Lounge for a cup of tea, some snacks and a chat.

Celebrate the end of winter as we await the arrival of spring at the Rasa Lila Arts open day. What to expect? This is a gathering for new or experienced drummers even If you have never drummed before. Join in the drum circle to experience a sense of community and to enjoy the rhythm of the drums. We will share in the playing of some easy to learn drum patterns that will lead towards drumming that is creative and with free expression. Arrive from 10.00am for DRIVE IN PARKING inside the property, with extra parking outside on the street, or catch a bus to the bus stop on the corner of King St and walk across the road. There will be morning tea provided. If you feel like bringing some food to share, then this will be for all to enjoy. A cold coin donation on the day helps Rasa Lila Arts with their costs. Bring a drum and percussion if you have any and spare drums and percussion will also be available to play. Chairs and lounges are provided for seating or BYO drum stool if you prefer. If it's a nice sunny day we have the option to gather outside. You are also welcome to come just to sit, and to listen.
