    Event description

The next event in our monthly series of events called the Toru Trail, find out more about our Toru Trail events here.

Join us for an immersive experience into the heart of organic + regenerative gardening practices as we connect deeply with Papatuānuku, our beloved Earth Mother. At our picturesque regenerative farm, nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, we invite you to join us in seeding, tending and deepening our relationship with the natural cycles and living systems.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Gain insights into the vital role of refraining from fertilizers in nurturing healthy ecosystems.
    • Deepen your understanding of Papatuānuku's intricate workings and her symbiotic relationship with all life.
    • Learn practical techniques for working in harmony with the soil microbiome to foster abundant growth and biodiversity.
    • What it means to be a steward of the land and the path of co-creating with nature to bring a vision to life.

    Our time together will include:

Origin Story: Hear from one of our stewards who helped to seed the vision of Mangaroa Farms. An opportunity to learn about how the farm came to be, and how we are committing to the regeneration.

Get Your Hands Dirty: Dive into the rich soil alongside fellow enthusiasts as we plant and seed with intention, honoring the wisdom of Papatuānuku.

Garden Tour: Embark on a guided tour of our regenerative farm, where you'll witness firsthand the transformative power of regenerative practices in action.

Nourishing Kai: A shared lunch with nutrient rich, whole foods, straight from the farm.

Farm loop trail: This is an optional, self guided walking trail to take in a wider view of the valley and get amongst the nature. *This is not included in the group activity and will be on your own time - before or after the event*

From our time together, you will receive the secret to nutrient dense food. Whether you are an avid gardener, or getting your hands in the soil for the first time, this day is for you!
