The Square Eyes Critics Club is at the ready to help you learn what makes great films tick and support your critical smarts so you can shape your thoughts, opinions, and views and spread the word about the films you see. Join Matilda Boese-Wong for an engaging guided review session, which offers film enthusiasts aged 8+ an opportunity to deepen their love for on-screen storytelling and sharpen their critical thinking skills through discussion, writing, and on-camera reporting.

Matilda Boese-Wong is a filmmaker, producer, reviewer, and the 48hours national coordinator. An esteemed creative voice, Matilda prioritises mahi that champions and celebrates authentic, unheard narratives. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film and really loves to watch, think through, and talk about, on-screen stories.
