Sriranjani Tapasya Santhanagopalan

Sriranjani Tapasya Santhanagopalan is one of themost sought-after exponents in Carnatic musictoday, celebrated for her remarkable versatilityand depth across both traditional andcontemporary formats. With over 17 years of performance experience, she has captivated audiences across India, the USA, UK, UAE, Singapore, Australia, and more – through concerts, workshops, and lecture-demonstrations.

A senior disciple and daughter of Sangita Kalanidhi Neyveli Sri Santhanagopalan, she carries forward a rich musical legacy with a distinctive voice of her own. Sriranjani is regularly featured atpremier platforms including The Music Academy (Chennai), Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Surya Festival, Sydney Music Festival, and Pallavi Darbar.

She is the founder of Tapasya School of Music, mentoring 70+ students worldwide with a focus on manodharma (creative interpretation) and values-based training. As a curator, she leads innovative digital and live initiatives such as A Musical Navaratri, Tapasya Chamber Concerts, and annual fundraiser events supporting diverse causes.

Kamalakiran Vinjamuri (Violin)

Kamalakiran Vinjamuri started his journey with the violin from his grand-father, Sri. Parthasarathy Iyengar. He subsequently had training from Smt. Malladi Vijayalakshmi. His father Sri.Subhash Vinjamuri, started teaching him the violin at the age of 7. He has been under the tutelage of Sangeethakalanidhi A. Kanyakumari since 2006.

Kamalakiran has won several accolades and has accompanied several leading artists of both past and present generations. Kamalakiran has also widely worked in collaborations with musicians of different genres. As a soloist, he has performed across Asia, the US, and Europe.

Patri Satish Kumar (Mridangam)

Patri Satish Kumar was born into a family of musicians. He was initiated into the art of percussion by his mother Padmavathy, a renowned violinist and had his debut at the tender age of 7. A fine performer, composer and with a deep interest to innovate and explore the art form, his specialization is his precise fingering technique and the fine balance of sounds between the treble and base heads of the Mridangam. Trained by Gurus Sree Ramachandramurthy, V.A.Swami and V. Narasimhan, Satish Kumar  continues to evolve a style that is distinctly his own.

Satish Kumar has been a regular feature in prestigious venues and festivals across India and around the world including BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall – London, The Music Academy – Chennai, Saptak Festival – Ahmedabad, Theater De La Ville – Paris, Villa Cardova – Cardoba – Spain, Rashtrapathi Bhavan – New Delhi, Pablo Festival in France,  Harbor Front Festival – Toronto, Madrid Jazz Festival, to name a few.

Satish Kumar’s name features in scores of CD and DVD productions as a soloist and also as part of other Ensembles from Classical and other musical productions in various genres all over the world. Satish has been enthralling audiences in India, The Persian Gulf, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Europe, USA and Canada. An “A-Top” ranking artiste of the All India Radio, Satish Kumar continues his journey in the world of percussion.

S. Sunil Kumar (Kanjira)

An accomplished Kanjira artist, teacher and stage performer, He is an ‘A’ grade artiste in All India Radio, Chennai. He learned under the guidance of his father Thavil Vidwan Triplicane K. Sekar. Later, he started learning kanjira from kanjira maestro V. Selvaganesh. He is accompanying with many stalwarts and senior vidwans and Vidushis.
