SRU Empowerment Program
Event description
Dates: The first program commences Monday 4th November, continuing on Monday 11th, 18th & 25th November
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm approx. each week
Cost: $40pp
Cost includes: Morning tea break with snacks and tea/ coffee/ drinks, as well as a folder full of resources, activity sheets, and notes on each topic as each week progresses.
Program Outline: Each week of the program is focused on a different topic;
- Financial Literacy & Budgeting
- Smart Shopping & Meal Preparation
- Job Readiness & Skill Development
- Savings, Investment & Future Planning
Who is this program for: This program is suitable for those aged 16 years and over, interested in learning more about the above topics. Everyone is welcome to participate. There are limited places for each program.
The second program will commence the first Monday in February.
