Walk eight minutes from Redfern Station, ten minutes from Macdonaldtown Station or 15 minutes from Newtown Station. By Bus: Bus routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352 stop on City Road at Codrington Street, a five-minute walk from Carriageworks. We always suggest you check transportnsw.info or the app when planning your trip. By Bicycle: There are bike lanes on nearby streets and bike racks within the Carriageworks precinct. By Car/ Parking: Limited on-site parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way, entry via 229 Wilson Street. There is limited parking in the surrounding streets. We encourage taking public transport when possible. Please check for major event road closures and major event car parking rates if planning to come by car.
Entry instructions
Enter Carriageworks' main foyer (where the box office is located) off Wilson Street. Once inside, turn right and follow the signs for The Finders Keepers towards the right end of the building, through large double doors. The Carriageworks foyer is wheelchair accessible and the foyer and event space are all flat on one level.
After entry instructions
Once you reach The Finders Keepers ticketing, follow the signs for pre-paid (online) or door sale tickets. You will then go through another set of double doors into the market itself. Toilets, first aid and parents' room are all located straight ahead once you have entered the market. The market takes places across one level, spread into two halls - the main marketplace (designers, foo & drink products, coffee/tea & snacks) and follow the signs into the Dining Room for ready-to-eat food, bars, more coffee, live music stage and lots more seating.
Hazards
Some uneven floor surfaces, due to the old railway tracks remaining in the floor of this heritage building. There are some slight slopes in the concrete floor through the building.
Toilet location
Toilets, first aid and parents' room are all located straight ahead once you have entered the market. There are more toilets located in the Carriageworks main foyer.
Accessible parking
Limited on-site parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way, including accessibility parks - entry via 229 Wilson Street. There is limited parking in the surrounding streets.
