St Albans Common Carp Fishing Comp 2026

Annual Fishing, Camping and Cooking Weekend 18th to 20th September 2026

Unique opportunity to camp on the world famous St Albans common amongst beside the picturesque common lake. Fish right at the door of your tent enjoying great company, activities, food and all the delights of the McDonald Valley and nearby St Albans.

Advanced Ticket sales end at 5pm on Wednesday 16th September (this is due to ticketing requirements off grid). After this time you are still able to buy a ticket at the gate (cash only)

Carp Fishing Competition - Bass Catch and Release

Live country music Saturday night featuring local cuisine from some of the valleys best cooks in stunning lakeside setting!

• All proceeds to the St Albans Common Trust

• Friday check-in from noon onwards

• Carp Fishing Comp from Fri 3pm - Sunday noon

• Fishing Workshop - FishCare Volunteers

• Clubs and individuals welcome

• Food and soft drinks available on-site

• Free camping on-site
