St Michael's Foundation Day
St Michael's Anglican Church
Vaucluse NSW, Australia
Event description
On Friday, October 29 1875, the Bishop of Sydney, Rev. Frederic Barker, laid the foundation stone to commence the building of St Michael's Vaucluse. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of this moment, we will be having a foundation day service re-enacting the liturgy of that day, followed by a lunch at St Michael's.
We would be delighted to welcome the community to celebrate this wonderful occasion and register to have lunch with us!
Tickets for lunch are free.
We're also at this time to renew and update parts of our building for our 150th birthday in 2027. We'd greatly appreciate it if you'd like to contribute to the 'St Michael's renewal fund'.
