HEADLINER: PAX ASSADI

Pax is regarded by his peers and audiences as one of the most exciting young acts in New Zealand.

Beginning his comedy journey in 2012, he has since racked up an impressive array of award nominations for his performances on stage, including the 2013 Billy T Award, 2015 NZCG Breakthrough Comedian of the Year, and Best Male Comedian of the Year Awards. In 2016, he was nominated for the prestigious Fred Dagg Award.

Pax has also appeared on a number of local television shows, including TV One's panel show Word Up, TV 3s 7 Days, Maori TVs Crack Up, the critically acclaimed Brown Eye, and the 2016 NZ International Comedy Gala.

Born and raised in New Zealand and the son of immigrant parents, Pax brings a unique perspective that resonates with people of every background. His hectic blend of personal stories and insightful observations will have you pondering life whilst simultaneously curled over with laughter.

ANGELLA DRAVID

One of the most unique comedy voices in Australasia, Angella has toured NZ and Australia with great success and won awards along the way. Angella Dravid is a writer, comedian and actor. She is the 2017 Billy T recipient, has appeared on Jono and Ben, Funny Girls, 7 Days and won the inaugural series of Taskmaster NZ.

Paul is one of the busiest live stand-up comedians in New Zealand and winner of Best Live Show and Best Gag at the 2019 New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards. A master storyteller, Paul’s simultaneously laid-back and frenetic energy has been winning over audiences for over 10 years and will leave you wanting to have a yarn with the man himself.
