Standing Together

Most would have collapsed under that grief. Ramiz kept going. As a leader who has worked and volunteered with numerous organizations, including HUMANITE, Gaza Youth Committee, and the Church of Saint Porphyrius, he’s spent years standing in the gap for families bringing food, clean water, hygiene support, women’s empowerment, and childcare, even in the most dangerous moments. Now Gaza is in another Nakba. Everyone is under threat, from starvation, and their water is unsafe. Ramiz never stops, keeps showing up, working voluntarily, even when he can barely provide for himself.
