Star-Struck Sukkot Shabbat
Event description
As stargazing links us to our past through ancient constellations and distant light, Sukkot and Shabbat guide us through time-honored rituals with loved ones, connecting us to the wisdom passed down through generations.
Explore these ties with us as we celebrate Shabbat, a weekly holiday of rest, and Sukkot, a joyful holiday honoring the harvest and our beautiful natural world. We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner, share laughter, and, weather permitting, explore the magic of the night’s stars with the Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society
Whether rain or shine, it will be a night of learning and connection. Registration is $10 and includes dinner.
Registration will be open until Friday, October 18, at 2 p.m. If you would like to sign up after that date, please email Rabbi Thalia at Thalpertrodis@jecc.org.
