Not one but two massive shows in one night for our first Starfish performance in 2024!!
Welcoming back the incredible Dannielle DeAndrea with her trio, AND Jade MacRae with her band, delivering an amazing night of music before both singers jet back to the US.
Fresh from Paramount Studios in LA where she recorded with the extraordinary Larry Goldings, Danielle will be bringing songs from that session to her Starfish performance along with material from her personal back catalogue.
Joining Dannielle will be the trio of pianist Bill Risby, Jonathan Zwartz on double bass and Hamish Stuart on drums.
As if that wasn't enough, following the awesome Danielle will be the also awesome Jade Macrae! Jade will perform with her 9 piece band including her dad Dave MacRae on keys, mum Joy Yates in the singers department along with Mahalia Barnes, Karen Lee Andrews and Bek Jensen. The Brass section features the dynamic players Matt Keegan on tenor saxophone, Nick Garbett on trumpet, and James Greening on trombone with the rhythm section of Ben Rodgers on guitars, and of course Hamish Stuart and Jonathan Zwartz.
Each artist will perform a minimum 50 minute set.
You simply can't miss this one. We will sell out for sure so please get your tickets right away. Also remember this performance is on the second Monday in January!
Our Starfish Chef Wendy will be making her green chicken curry and there will be a vegetarian option too.
