FAQs

• What happens in the case of bad weather?

  Cloud and rain are no fun, especially when the alternative is a magic night under a dark, starry sky. While every effort is made, the weather is one of the few things that we really cannot control. To make sure we offer the best starry night tour experience we will email you at 2pm on the day of the tour if we need to cancel but we will continue to monitor the weather.

  In the unlikely event of cancellation due overcast skies, we will offer you two options:

  1.        Choose to reschedule your tour within a period of 10 days. OR

  2.        Choose to receive a gift card valid for a period of two years.

• Are our tours wheelchair accessible / dog friendly / suitable for younger children?

  Answers:

  Wheelchair: yes. the stars belong to everyone. Our site is at the edge of the carpark at the end of Dammeral Cres for easy access.

  Dogs and Pets: no. Our site is in a National Park so, unfortunately, dogs and pets are not allowed.

  Younger Children: Tours are designed for ages 5 and up and younger ones may find the content a bit challenging. They are no less welcome for that.

• I've never done a stargazing tour before. Is there anything I should know?

  To get the maximum effect our tours are conducted under conditions that are as dark as possible. At Look At Me Now (LAMN), the carpark and access paths are quite flat and getting from your car to the telescope is easy. Ambient red or orange light, as well as signage, is provided for guidance and safety but will be kept to a minimum. The headland is home to several mobs of kangaroos, one of which lives adjacent to the tour location. This mob is well known to us and, like all mobs at LAMN they are well used to humans.
