Explore Indigenous Australian astronomy in this fascinating show with Starr’s Planetarium. Take a trip through our Solar System and beyond in an immersive high-tech 360° movie dome! Find out how Indigenous cultures describe constellations that are fundamental to their daily lives. Hear stories from across Australia and how they relate to natural occurrences, laws and traditions, behaviour, navigation, seasons, history, and spirituality.
This session is suitable for ages 6 and over and includes a visit to Starr’s Mobile Planetarium and drop-in craft in the Library Children’s Room.
Please note: Parents are required to stay and must also have a valid ticket.
