Event description

This Men's Health Week Student Minds host Jack Jones from The Banksia Project for a candid chat about Men’s Mental Health followed by a Q&A featuring UNSW students and staff sharing their experiences.

We chat about the challenges men face, how we are coping and why we need to focus on this conversation more!

Men's Mental Health impacts us all and we all have a role to play, so this session is available to everyone and is inclusive of all genders.

Who is Jack?

Jack was a young “stereotypical” bloke. He had two university degrees, played elite rugby, had great friends and family and yet, behind the scenes he suffered from severe mental illness. After going through his own challenges, he now runs The Banksia Project and provides men in the community with support and guidance in hope they don’t have to go through the illness he faced.
