Vahid Fotuhi is a distinguished social entrepreneur and environmental leader hailing from Dubai. As Founder and CEO of Blue Forest, an acclaimed project developer specializing in mangrove forest restoration financed through Voluntary Carbon Markets, Vahid has demonstrated a profound commitment to environmental conservation.

Previously, Vahid served as Vice President for the Middle East and Africa at SOURCE Global, a solar-powered water technology firm backed by luminaries like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. Additionally, his role as Managing Director at Access Power involved spearheading the origination, development, and financing of solar and wind power projects across 12 countries, providing clean energy worth over $600 million to millions of people.

With a remarkable 25-year track record in nature-based project development, Vahid has also showcased his passion for community impact by founding three initiatives: Impact Adventures, the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA), and Fathers And Kids Camping.
