Business Skills Workshop: Create, Plan or Pivot - Strategic Business Check-in

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Create your new business or review your existing business to build resilience and success.

Be supported in this workshop to test and develop your ideas or review your current business using the Lean Business Model Canvas – a tool designed to help you activate your idea or do a strategic check-in to  build a repeatable, sustainable and scalable business model.

The Lean (Business Model) Canvas is a one-page tool (developed by Ash Maruya) that helps you critically think about how your idea becomes a business, or to strategically manage, iterate or pivot your existing business.

We’ll be using a refined version of the Canvas developed by our EIR, Ashleigh Camm, which prompts purpose-driven and circular economy principles, to assist us to build sustainable and regenerative businesses that are fit for a thriving future for us all.

    What you will learn:

During the workshop you’ll have the opportunity to test and workshop your ideas with other participants as well as the facilitators, and be able to walk away with tangible next steps to activate your idea or accelerate your early-stage business.

This is the main tool we use in our Pre-Accelerator Program, an 8-week Program that helps you go from idea stage to Minimum Viable Product, or your first product to market, while embedding purpose and sustainability principles.

The next  Pre-Accelerator Program intake kicks off on 14 September.

If you don’t have an idea or a business but are thinking about taking the leap, come along too! The Lean Business Model Canvas is a great tool to help you develop your ideas down the track and you’ll get to hear more about how Sourdough can support you too.
