Startup Queenstown Lakes: Not A Book Club with QLDC Libraries, Wānaka
Description
What's stopping you from starting?
Got an idea for a business, side hustle or project, but haven't started yet?
Not a Book Club is a new series of group conversations from Startup Queenstown Lakes and QLDC Libraries. Each session takes one idea from a well-known business book and uses it to start a practical conversation about building something of your own. You don't need to have read the book.
Our first session takes inspiration from The Lean Startup by Eric Ries, which explores how to test ideas early, learn from feedback and avoid spending too much time or money before you know what works.
Rene from Startup Queenstown Lakes will guide the conversation around a simple question: what's stopping us from getting started? We'll explore some of the common barriers, share perspectives and look at ways to make taking that first step feel more manageable.
Whether you're considering a business, a side hustle, a creative project or simply have an idea you'd like to explore, this is an opportunity to talk it through with others. No business experience or fully formed plan needed.
