Join us for an action-packed weekend from November 15 - 17 at Riff, powered by Spacecubed (45 St Georges Terrace, Perth) in partnership with the City of Perth and UWA Venture, where university students (18+) will take centre stage. This edition of Startup Weekend is exclusively for students ready to turn their innovative ideas into real-world solutions, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

🔥 What is Startup Weekend?
It’s a 54-hour entrepreneurial sprint where you can bring your ideas to life, Silicon Valley-style. From pitching concepts to validating markets, creating prototypes, and developing business models, this weekend is all about working in teams to build something incredible from scratch.

💡 How does the weekend work?

• Friday (5PM - 8PM): The event kicks off with networking, followed by idea pitches where teams form organically around the top ideas.
• Saturday & Sunday (9AM -7 PM): Teams dive deep into developing their ideas, experiencing the highs and lows of startup life.
• Sunday Night (4PM - 7PM): It's pitch time! Teams present their ideas to friends, family, supporters, and a panel of judges where the winning teams are crowned.

This edition is designed specifically for university students (18+). Whether you’re studying business, engineering, arts, or any other field, if you’re passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, and bringing an idea to life, this event is for you! No previous experience or startup knowledge is required – just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
