Startup Weekend Taranaki 2021 (Hybrid Event)

Under Alert Level 2 this event will be a hybrid event - a mix of online and in-person.
Startup Weekend is an event where designers, developers and problem solvers come together to share ideas, form teams and launch startups. They have a chance to learn how to think, work and build like a startup—in 54 thrilling hours. Watch a recap from our last event here! (You might see some familiar faces.)
The five previous Taranaki Startup Weekends have been very successful events and have contributed significantly to the development of Taranaki’s startup and innovation community—several companies have been launched locally because of it. A study done for our Hāwera event in November 2020 found that attendees were 40% more likely to start a business after taking part. And it boosted their entrepreneurial mindset by nearly 15% in just a weekend!
