The Startups Engine
UTS Startups @ Central
ultimo, australia
Event description
The Startup Engine workshop provides a framework, model and process that captures the core concepts needed to achieve problem-solution fit and product-market fit.
We'll look at the following elements in the Startup Engine approach:
- Engine design - The Core Enterprise Flow Model. You will articulate how you propose to make money and the flow of products/services, including evaluating business model options
- Ignition point - The Startup FUEL (Framework for Understanding Economic Logic) Simulation. You will simulate the ignition point by defining assumptions, make a feasibility snapshot, and consider business and pricing models and break even calculations.
- Startup piston - A critical path roadmap kickstarting the startup engine. You will map markets to achieve problem-solution fit and product-market fit, and expectations to achieve a fit.
Benefits of using the Startup Engine method:
- accelerated time to market
- enhanced financial planning
- data-drive decision making
- improved testing
- improved investor pitch
- increased confidence
Drinks will follow this workshop at Clare Bar from 4:30 onwards.
