Join philanthropic and corporate leaders as they share how a strategic gender lens in giving delivers stronger social and business outcomes.

In a critical time globally for human rights and gender equality, this virtual event celebrates organisations investing strategically in equity and inclusion through their giving and ESG programs.

Garreth Chandler, Founder & CEO of The Evolved Group, will present the latest findings from the State of Gender-wise Giving Survey 2025. The annual survey asks the AFR Top 50 corporate and philanthropic givers whether, and how, they consider gender equity in their community investment decisions, offering unique insight into national trends in gender-wise philanthropy.

Julie Bissinella – Interim CEO, Champions of Change Coalition
Julie is the Interim CEO of the Champions of Change Coalition. A strategic leader with more than 25 years’ experience, Julie’s career spans the corporate, government and community sectors, where she has designed and delivered innovative, disruptive and practical solutions to complex social and workplace challenges.

Through executive roles in Corporate Affairs, Community Engagement, ESG and Change Management at organisations including Champions of Change Coalition, Bupa, ANZ and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Julie has developed extensive expertise in coalition building and working with stakeholders to drive enduring, system-level change. Julie is a Fellow of the Williamson Community Leadership Program and was a Member of the Australian Government’s National People with Disability and Carers Council in the formative years of the National Disability Strategy.

Allan English AM – Founder & Chair, English Family Foundation; Chair, Queensland Social Impact Advisory Roundtable
Allan founded Silver Chef to help hospitality entrepreneurs get started without heavy upfront costs. The rent-try-buy model grew to support over 25,000 clients across Australia, New Zealand and Canada. He later established the English Family Foundation to support social entrepreneurs creating change in their communities. He received an Order of Australia (AM) for his contribution to philanthropy and community service and was recognised as one of the AFR’s 21 True Leaders. Allan now chairs the Queensland Social Impact Advisory Roundtable, supporting the state government’s efforts to grow the social enterprise movement.
 
James Fazzino – Chair, Rabobank; Chair, Manufacturing Australia; Non-Executive Director; Co-Convenor, Champions of Change Coalition
James is an experienced executive, having held senior international leadership roles in manufacturing, chemicals and engineering-centred organisations. A former CEO and CFO, James is the Chair of Manufacturing Australia and Chair of Rabobank Australia. He currently serves on the Boards of Australian Pipelines Limited (APA Group), Qube and Amotiv Limited. James has been a Member of Champions of Change Coalition since 2015 is the Co-Convenor of the Energy Group and the National 2015/2017 Groups.
