Join us in the Event Space for the launch of the Staveley Camp Forest book launch of Remnant.
Remnant tells the story of how a tiny native forest survives on Sawmill Road, Staveley, through the eyes of nine people.
Their stories interweave nature, personal recollections of the church camp, local history and thoughts on the changing value we give to natural areas.
It's a compelling insight into why this remnant forest persists: a coming together of geography, biodiversity, and a strong community spirit.
