STAWA Pre-Service Teachers Swap Meet

Teaching full-time can require over 50 resources per week/500 per term!

To give you a little support in the worksheet/PowerPoint/area, we are arranging a Pre-Service Teacher Swap Meet!

To gain a ticket, please send one resource to share (please be your own work due to copyright).

We can guarantee at least 50 resources for you to pick up/download on Friday, 28th March this year.

Some of the resources apply to the new curriculum for 2026.

Come and mingle with fellow pre-service science teachers over refreshments. 

We are excited to have Annabel Kanakis as our guest speaker. Annabel is a highly respected science and STEM teacher, renowned for her dynamic teaching and unwavering commitment to student success. With extensive experience, she inspires excellence through real-world problem-solving and innovative pedagogy. Beyond the classroom, she is a dedicated advocate for the teaching profession, creating resources, writing educational texts and serving as a long-time volunteer with the Science Teachers’ Association of Western Australia (STAWA) and the Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA)
