Choosing a childcare centre is a big decision, and a tour of empty rooms doesn't show you much. At A Day at Ignite, you'll see us on a normal day, with children, educators and routines all running as usual.

This open day is for families thinking about enrolling. Bring your little one along to explore, play and get a feel for life at Ignite.

What you can expect

A warm welcome. A member of our leadership team will meet you at reception, introduce you to Ignite and explain how your visit will work.
Everyday learning. Watch our educators with the children during play-based learning, routines, transitions and mealtimes. Nothing is staged. You'll see a normal day.
Stay and play. You and your child can explore our play spaces and indoor playground together and do some simple, child-led activities using our usual resources.
Learning on display. See real learning documentation, children's ideas and their work. Our educators will explain how they observe, plan, reflect on and extend each child's learning.
Time for your questions. Talk with our leadership team about your child's needs, room availability, fees, orientation and settling into care.

Every family goes home with

An Ignite sun hat and reusable water bottle for your child
A family welcome pack covering our educational philosophy, curriculum, enrolment process and how to book a follow-up visit

We want you to leave feeling confident that your child will be happy, safe and supported here.
